Spitfire Symphony Orchestra features a full symphonic string, symphonic brass and symphonic woodwind sections including solo instruments, plus harp, piano and all core elements of percussion needed to complete the band. Recorded in Lyndhurst Hall, at AIR Studios, London, performed by a gold generation of musicians who have featured on some of the top film scores of the last decade.

In collaboration with Hans Zimmer’s Bleeding Fingers Music, Fractured Strings introduces an innovative approach to articulations that offers inspirational surprises through intervallic performances and new modal colours, delivering unparalleled depth and realism. With these emotive musical gestures and our Scale Mode technology, this library lends itself perfectly to cellular, ambient, and neoclassical composing — reflecting the intricacies, patterns and contrasts found in natural phenomena.

Spitfire Symphonic Strings Evolutions marries our evo grid technology with the majesty of a symphony-sized string section to allow you to create and perform engaging, sophisticated and emotional music from the most simplistic of arrangements. As a layering tool it can bring static arrangements to life with elegant, modern and progressive orchestral techniques, plus solve one of the harder aspects of media composition: effective gradual transitions from one state to another. As an alternative to using only straightforward long notes, this library draws upon the pointillistic effect of having multiple players perform short notes at random intervals to create an undulating swell of sound performed in real time, for inspiring results. This library has been created exclusively in collaboration with Bleeding Fingers Music, and is featured in Blue Planet II and Hans Zimmer X Radiohead collaboration (ocean) bloom.
